The folks at Castrol testing facilities demand so much from their products that they needed to create a robot rider, Flossie, to keep up with the rigors, demands and extreme scenarios that their motor oils would need to be tested under.

 

Flossie provides Castrol engineers the opportunity to simulate optimal circumstances over and over with the exact same throttle and shifting without error, unlike a human test rider might be subject to. Not only will Flossie not check-out early and the end of a work day, but it will continue to learn specific riding styles or courses as it repeats procedure.
